Frankie grew up in East Northport, NY and loved playing ice hockey as a defenseman for the Kings Park/Commack High School team and the Long Island Royals Ice Hockey Club travel team. After graduating from Commack High School in 1998, he attended the University of Delaware and graduated in 3.5 years with a degree in Finance. He subsequently had a successful career in the mortgage and insurance industries.

Frankie lived life to the fullest, loved playing golf, spending time with family and friends, making people laugh, and always being there for anybody that needed his help.
​
After Frankie’s tragic death at the age of 30 in an automobile accident on September 26, 2010, his family established the Frank J Rizzo V Memorial Scholarship Fund, which is administered by the Commack Alumni Scholarship Foundation. The Scholarship Fund awards scholarships for college tuition to graduates of Commack High School.

Frankie’s parents, Frank and Carol, his brother Ryan, sister-in-law Jenna, sister Lyndsey and brother-in-law Mike, express their sincere gratitude to all of our family and friends that have generously donated to the Scholarship Fund and helped us with fundraising activities. A special thank you to Chris Hoenigmann for developing this web-site and helping preserve our memories of Frankie.
Billy Grieco

William "Billy" Grieco was a talented, kindhearted and crafty young man. The youngest of Bill and Christine's four children, Billy possessed the innate ability to build and create beautiful works of art with his bare hands. Starting with Lego's and cardboard quickly graduating to sheet rock and spackle, Billy's projects around the Grieco home included a remodeled basement, a two-tier coy pond and a 65 gallon salt water fish tank.

Tragically, on March 4th, 2012, Billy's and his family's dreams were cut short when he decided to take his own life, just weeks shy of his 18th birthday and high school graduation. In order to have Billy's name live on in the Commack community, the Grieco family established a scholarship to assist college bound seniors who demonstrate an interest and passion in a trade. The Grieco family would like to thank all of their family and friends who have donated their time, energy, products and funds to assist in the Billy and Frankie's Scholarship Fund and Golf Outing.
